Sean Southall

Responsible for investment products, analytical processes and technology systems at Southern Oak, with nearly 15 years of experience in the alternative investment industry. He has worked with multi-billion-dollar hedge funds and private equity firms in New York, London, Hong Kong & Europe to develop complex systems and processes across financial modelling, asset valuation, risk analytics, compliance, trading strategies and performance evaluation.

Prior to Southern Oak, Sean leveraged his unique expertise in quantitative investment processes and fund operations to advise FinTech and FinServ companies develop innovative product offerings for asset managers across the globe, establishing a track record in helping growth companies reach successful exit strategies.

Sean graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics, having attended the University of Leeds in the UK and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in the US. He is a CFA Charterholder®, CAIA Charterholder®, and is proficient in Portuguese.

Scott Moscatelli

A co-principal of Southern Oak, presiding over investor relations and business development for client solutions that utilize Southern Oak’s full suite of investment capabilities whilst supporting management operations.

Scott has over 20 years of experience developing product offerings and innovative marketing programs for Fortune500 companies. He has executed growth strategies for new business offerings across various cultures and industries, focusing on value creation through product architecture, establishing new revenue opportunities and client relationship management.

Scott’s expertise is in building & leading diverse teams across sales, product & marketing disciplines, with a focus on operational excellence. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from Xavier University and an MBA from New York University, with a concentration in Finance & Business Analytics.
