This is a Nippon white covered cheese dish that is only marked Hand Painted. But it is not hand painted. . The dish is white with pink flowers, beaded gold trim, pale green circles and a worn top handle. It is just two pieces-the underplate and the lid.<br><br>The underplate measures 7.50 inches across. The lid is 4 7/8 inches across and it is 3 5/8 inches to the top of the handle.<br><br>The only gold wear is on the handle. Also, to me, the color on the top of the lid is more of cream than a white, but the rest of it is white.
